Dr. Michael A Civin, Ph.D.

These days, Dr. Michael A Civin, Ph.D. practices as a specialist in clinical psychology in the Bronx area of New York City. Long considered a fixture in the psychological services community in New York, the work Dr. Civin has accomplished a lot all over town over the course of his nearly 30-year career. One thing everyone must admit is that Dr. Michael A. Civin, Ph.D. is highly educated. That education began with his graduation in 1968 from Harvard with an A.B. degree, which he earned cum laude.

Following that, Michael A Civin, Ph.D. attended the Albert Einstein College of Medicine for a year before earning his first M.A. Degree in 1970 from the University of Oregon. He earned his second M.A. in Clinical Psychology some years later from Adelphi University’s Derner Institute of Advanced Psychological Studies in 1986. Not long after that, Dr. Michael A. Civin earned his Ph.D., also from Adelphi. If that’s not enough education, Dr. Michael A. Civin, Ph.D. also earned medical degree he earned at the Pennsylvania Institute Of Straight Chiropractic in 1988.

Dr. Michael Civin, Ph.D has always spent a lot of time in the academic world and he still does. Though he officially became Michael Civin, Ph.D. in 1988, when he earned his doctorate from Adelphi, that wasn’t the extent or the end of Dr. Michael Civin’s education. In fact, Adelphi also awarded him a Postdoctoral Certificate in Psychoanalysis and Psychotherapy back in 1993. At various times in his life, he has been a full professor, associate professor and a faculty member in many institutions of higher learning over the years and he has published many scholarly articles in medical journals and chapters in very important books on psychology.

Dr. Michael Civin has been in practice for several decades now, but he never stops learning. He obviously love it, since he started by earning an A.B. degree with cum laude honors from Harvard in 1968 and followed that with his attendance at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in 1968 and 1969. In 1970, he was awarded his first Masters of Arts degree from the University of Oregon, but he earned another Masters of Arts degree, this time in clinical psychology, from Adelphi University‘s Derner Institute of Advanced Psychological Studies.
